EXPERIENCE THE WHOLE SAIMAA!
Sister Amanda is a vessel for small groups. In order to ensure a safe cruise, we only hire the vessel with a captain: our captains are highly skilled, they also act as captains on the ms Saimaa Margareta and have work/water transport experience with the rescue services. You can bring your own refreshments (including alcoholic beverages) to Sister Amanda. Through our catering service we are also able to provide food and non-alcoholic beverages. The vessel can accommodate a maximum of 10 passengers in charter cruises and day trips. The vessel’s cruising speed is around 8 knots (15 km/h) for a day trip and for longer crossings on deep/open water, the cruising speed is around 22-24 knots (around 40-45 km/h).
On Sister Amanda we also operate longer cruises to all parts of Lake Saimaa on the available accessible routes. All the harbours and islands of Lake Saimaa are within easy reach, as well as several Geopark sites. Swimming in the clear waters of the Saimaa and exploring its underwater world is also possible with self-guided/guided snorkelling or diving with a diving instructor.
